Would someone be able to make a thread when they know there are going to be community days held? It would be much appreciated and help out a bunch of people who have this game.

I was just looking for this same information myself. I've already went to needforspeed.com and created an account, but I can't seem to find any information regarding "community days" what so ever!

See, I went there as well and was perusing the forums around there. Apparently there was a community day a day or two ago that most everyone missed if they weren't checking the forums on here. One of EA's great faults is that they fail to put it up on their main site so a TON of people miss out on it. You definitely have to search for it. Though the moderators on the forums over there seem supremely confident that there will be "many more community days to come." I am skeptical given EA's track record but I will get the game when I know for sure when a community day will actually be.

Yeah EA's info is pretty sketchy. Just try an online race each day to see if you get it. Happened for me last night, I was just trying an online sprint and popped the achievement after the race, didn't even know it was a community race day.

From what I've been able to gather, at this point in time, nobody knows of any specific dates for these Community Days.

However, I did notice that the last official one they had (which was a couple days ago) was posted on xbox.com so from now on I'm just going to look on the xbox website since I'm on there almost every day anyways! I'll let yall know if I see/hear anything... :)

i got really lucky and just happened 2 see sum1 post on here when there was a community day not long ago so i ran to turn the xbox on and prayed i could connect 2 this stupid game's online portion. otherwise ya they dont announce those things at all.

Well, the whole point of this thread was to post on when the Community Day's are. It looks like there is no solid information so I am going to depend on yous guys to post when these days are. Thanks to all who responded.

So I was racing against this guy 'EA Torque' last night and asked him if he knew when the next community day was going to be... he had no idea. He said that he plans on doing one once per month and then there are others who will be doing community days as well so they could be at anytime really. I guess its their own individual choices of if and when they want to run a community day.

He said just keep checking Needforspeed.com.

It doesn't matter if you win ot lose for the community achievement.
You just need to participate in an event on a community day.

He got the achievement on the 22 which was a community day ;)

I'm pretty sure all you need to do is join a race or a cops and robbers match and just finish it at least one time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

^^ correct. you don't have to win even just finish an event. unsure if DNF counts though in a race.

Like they stated above.
You'll have to wait for a community day to be announced and than play a game online (either "race" or "Cops and Robbers"). You don't need to win in order to get it.

The parts I'm unsure of are if a DNF will unlock it and if you need to do a ranked match or you can do it in both ranked and private matches.

I dont understand why need for speed does these community day achievemnts. Im lucky to even have the one for undercover. Im still lacking race day 2 in pro street. My advice to EA is to stop the madness of race days.

Ive been online from 9:45am.... and im online right now (2:32pm) GMT and it STILL hasnt popped! The last bloody achievement i need then its back to the shop!! EA...... PULL YOUR FINGER OUT!!!

After looking on the ea website (that for helpful for once?) Unfortunatly there just the times the EA players will be online. The achievement should have popped at 5am GMT this morning. Im waiting for a reply ive written on the EA forum regarding this and other Community day achievements.

Will keep everyone on here upto date as soon as i know EXACTLY when we can get this bloody 20gp achieve!

I just got mine by finishing a Cops and Robbers match about 5min ago. Its about 1:45PM on Sunday 12/21/2008 right now. Thats Eastern Standard Time (GMT -05:00)

ive noticed that the race days are on the same says they are on on the xbox monthly community calendars(the calendar that has a game listed for everyday and people are supposed to play it, sadly no one ever looks at it making it useless)

So the race days for january should be on the 4th and the 25th. Both are sundays(the first and the last)

Alright folks, just found out when the next race day will be.

NEXT COMMUNITY RACE DAY:
December 31-January 2

That is Wednesday to Friday.

I got this information straight from a Moderator over at the EA forums so this is straight from the horses mouth. EAtorque is running them and he is a pretty cool guy. Hopefully you all can nab this achievement. :) See you out there as I have to rent this bad boy within these days.

Just tried it at 1 AM on Wednesday on eastern US time and no achievement, so im thinking it my go by pacific US time standards. Anyways Ill try it when im done sleeping in a few hours or so, im needing this achievement for 1000G

According to the last Community Day the achievement should be unlockable at 12am PST, which is in 1 hour and 5 minutes from now.

it usually unlocks at 8am over in the usa so thats roughly around 3pm over here. try after 3 and ifnot just try tmw to get it for defo! no need to panic!

i just played a game of cops and robbers online ranked and did not get this community day achievement.

so apparently they took it off after you posted.
