Something I was wondering while in front of the mirror this morning. When you shave do you go with, or against the grain?

Usually with but I've been known to do both (i.e. shave with the grain and then flip it and shave against right after).

Haha, I guess I'm a yeti at the moment. I work out on the ramp where there's no protection against the cold and wind, so I grow my beard out every winter to protect my face. It gets pretty damn thick but then March rolls around and I shave it all off(against the grain).

I'd have to say, I'm hardcore and go against the grain. That way I need to shave less often :p Nice and close :D

With the grain, I don't like a clean shave so I always leave stubble.

Is this the gay bar you own? :p Don't go there mate, I unfortunately don't bat for that side. So in advance, before you ask, no, I won't. ;)

When I do decide to shave, its always with the grain. If I shave against the grain I get horrible razor burn. Its pretty bad.

I have to shave with the grain then against the grain, plus sideways as well.

If I don't within 6 hours I'll have bad stubble again!

Does mean I use damn expensive razors and shaving gels to avoid burn.
