Did anyone else watch/enjoy the Battlestar Galactica season premiere? This show is awesome to watch, good drama, writing, and it's relevant. Especially with its religious occupation and the suicide bombings. Tremendous show and I'm glad it's back.

Thought I'd try to bring this thread back since the premiere of season 4 is tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to see what they do with the last season of the series, I've thought that the past seasons have been some of the best writing on television. Anyone else a fan of the show?

I am a huge fan of this show, I got all the DVDs and am excited about the premier tomorrow.

Unfortunately the XBLA game totally blew or I would have gotten it. That game was shameless advertising.

The mini-series, Razor, and seasons 1 & 2 were mind blowing. Season 3 seemed to be leaning far too much towards Dawsons Creek for my liking (honestly, I couldn't give a shit about Starbuck's or anyone else's tedious romances on board), apart from the rescue at the end which I couldn't help watching four or five times - bloody amazing.

First episode of 4 was decent, seems to be getting back on track. Tigh's little day dream and Anders' eye contact with the raider were pretty interesting scenes - fingers crossed those 4 are actually on the human's side. I still have no idea who the final cylon is despite the previous seasons apparently being littered with clues.

And doesn't it seem a bit odd about Baltar's little following? I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the sole survivor making it to Earth and ends up being Jesus.

I wouldn't be surprised if [Baltar] ended up being the sole survivor making it to Earth and ends up being Jesus.
I really enjoyed the first episode of season 4, I feel the story will not follow the "mission of the week" formula and get back to finding Earth. I would hope all 4 stay with the humans, but for whatever reason I see Sam and the President's Assisstant (what's her name again) the most likely to defect.

As for Baltar, I definitely felt the whole Jesus vibe during the episode. I'm curious how they'll represent Earth when they find it.

Agreed, but how many episodes is it now going to take before Adama and co listen to Buck and get back on track? I hate this kind of waiting game (although realise they are hesitant due to her reappearance).

Anders defecting? I'd hope not after all that magical eye business.

I hope the whole Jesus Baltar guess is way off, because it's a tad too obvious now and i'm gagging for a surprise finish.
