Spider-man Vs Marvel Zombies? oh no...

Yep its true, even though i can cross my fingers and say no. rumors are leaking all around about the next game being Spider-man vs Marvel zombies. If indeed activision makes this, i think it will be the 1st spider-man game i have ever not bought. But anyways here is the clip i found, hopefully you feel as i do.

"In addition to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, the next next Spider-man game, after this fall’s Web of Shadows, will allegedly be entitled Spider-man vs. Marvel Zombies. The game is said to take place in a possible future, 2149, where Marvel heroes and villains have become zombies. Spidey’s mission is to defeat the zombie horde, OR join it, implying there will be multiple choices as far as gameplay goes. It will continue the open-world style of the last few Spider-man games, as well."

I was kind of hoping a game would be made where you play as a human in an alternate universe where the Marvel Zombies (including Spider-Man) started to wreak havoc. I actually still have high hopes for this.

Are you kidding? I dont think that ONE marvel character should be the headline of a marvel zombies game. Plus Spider-man was one of the main zombies. It would also have to be a rated R game and marvel you and I both know would not do that to a comic book game. all and all it would just be a waste of time.

Jesus that is retarded... Not to mention Marvel Zombies (1, 2 and 3 so far) was lame. Pretty much the initial story in Ultimate Fantastic Four was worth any while.

Even Sonic turning into a werewolf seems better (worked for Link :P)

Yeah as much as i think it is funny as hell, your right he is turning into another sonic the hedgehog. But the whole turning into a warewolf is dumb and you can tell sonic games are just running out of juice.

I am probally one of the few that would definitly get it. I liked all of the Zombie comics but the new 3rd one is just terrible so far. Spidey has always been my favorite Hero so if they put him in as the main charater I wouldn't mind. Although I would rather have it like Ultimate Alliance where you can choose between different charaters. Then set it up so each of the charaters have different outcomes as you make choices through the game so none would be the same as another characters for replay value. Or even make it so you can play online/offline co-op and work together with so many other heros doing there own thing and add a way in so if you get turned into a zombie the story changes to where you can try to infect the other heroes.

inferno there has been huge talk over a marvel zombie game every since they got the reaction out of the very 1st run of the series of comics. Now with that said, and spider-man being the most popular character, they want to have him headline the game. I dont think this is a prank at all. I mean I would think a sonic game being made where sonic can transform into a werewolf would be a prank but thats being made. Welcome to the wonderful world of bad decisions for games.

well here's hoping they give it a good storyline, keep the combat from web of shadows and add some improvements, give us a good camera and lock on system, and someone who can act and do a good voice over for spider-man. Put that all together and you've got the best spider-man game to date that can be considered a great game.
