I was having some questions about painting the 360 faceplate and controller. Has anyone done this and have recommendations? My biggest question is what kind of paint I should use for shine and durability? I was thinking of painting the controller after I take it apart and sand down the Dpad ring for fighting games, SFII and the upcoming UMK3, in particular.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

This ahs been discussed and you can use the "Search" Feature at the top of the page for help on finding it. From what I remember them discussing, they used car Paint....

I post the link if I find it.

Appreciate the speedy help, I modded the old Xbox to the point it refused to work anymore....pause for sadness....but it was worth it. So I figured I'd ask for help first.

Don't know about the 360, but Michaels arts and Crafts had a skin modding kit for xbox a while back./

Painte depend on how much prep you want to do.

Paints for the lazy modder, Krylon Fusion. Paint made for plastic. No primer needed and you're not supposed to clearcoat.

If you're serious about it, Duplicolor auto paints. You'll need primer, your color, then a clearcoat.
