Ok, seriously, who's going to buy this game, besides all the women that think Ms. Pac-Man is SOOO much better than Pac-Man because she's a girl?
If you like Pac-Man, you would already have bought Pac-Man. The only point in buying Ms. Pac-Man is for GamerScore, so I'm figuring about half of you will get it. 5 dollars says it has the same achievements as the Pac-Man that's out on XBLA now.
For $5, I may think about it... But I asked myself the same question when they announced it...

1. Mrs. Pac-Man from back in the day was multiplayer, so this is more than likely going to bee too.
2. +200 gamerscore.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt Mrs. Pac-Man have a boost button to speed her up?

I dont think she has a boost button, but I do remember her being a whole hell of a lot quicker then Pac-Man. Just more quickness for her then Pac-Man I think no boost button.

As far as I can remember there is about 5 or 6 different levels designs which replay after the final level is complete. Think this alone is enough to warrant the purchase...After all why do we buy any sequel?

Ms Pac-Man was a better game.
or maybe it's just cause the levels changed colors and made it feel like i was progressing towards something.

Hi Kdog, that was "Super" pac man that had the boost button (back in the 80's)

Ms. Pac-Man for the arcade has a trick where if you held the joystick in the "up" position, the game would play at hyper-speed. (My parents still have the arcade cabinet in their basement, I play it whenever I'm over there.)

The biggest difference for me is that there aren't really any reliable patterns for Ms. Pacman so more skill is involved. Pacman can be defeated by learning a few basic patterns and playing forever.

Back in 1981, everybody thought Ms. Pac-Man was better than Pac-Man because the levels changed. For some reason, that was a big deal back then.
