Introduction
Lara's original adventure is retold to bring it into the next-gen and
to adapt it into the franchise reboot. Getting to 1000 will require 2 playthoughs, once on the Hard difficulty (getting all artifacts, relics, and weapons in the process) and then once more in Time Trial mode. One achievement, Hard Game, is potentially glitched; if you start up a Time Trial in the middle of your Hard playthough, the game potentially considers this as playing a Medium level and you will have to start the game over again. Best thing to do is to wait until you complete the game to start time trials. Cheats unlocked through completing time trials do not disable other achievements. After unlocking them, activate them in the game from the pause menu.

Please note, it's possible to miss 23 out of 26 achievements on the Hard playthough! Be sure to save often and reload if you miss a relic/artifact or die (whether on your own or failing a super action).

Step 1: Croft Manor
Start off by heading into Croft Manor for some training. Familiarize yourself with Lara's moves, old and new, and work your way through all the sections until you get into the music room. Not only will this prepare you for your adventure, but also net you the first achievement.

Step 2: Hard Playthough

When you're ready, start up a new game on the Hard difficulty. As you progress, keep a relic/artifact/weapon guide handy and make sure not to miss any. Proceed carefully, making sure you know where you need to go next and how to get there, before you starting heading there. If you die, RELOAD. You will miss out on achievements if you die and let the game continue for you. This also holds true for the Super Actions where you have to tap certain buttons during a cutscene. Aside from not dying and picking up all relics/artifacts/weapons, the only other achievement you have to worry about is Lightning Never Strikes Twice. It's possible to get hit by lightning and not die, so safe before entering the room and proceed slowly. By the end of the game, you should have all the weapon, artifact, slayer, Super Action, and no-deaths achievements.

Step 3: Time Trials
The time trials require you to complete levels (with puzzles and enemies intact) under certain time limits. As mentioned above, cheats do not disable these achievements. It's advised to start off with the Lost Island time trials to get the Golden Shotgun. To succeed in the time trials, you need to be very familiar with the level and you should always know what to do next. Having the Golden Shotgun will defeat enemies in mere seconds which should help you save time. Keep your cool and don't try to rush to the point you're making simple mistakes.

Conclusion
Nothing in Tomb Raider: Anniversary stands out as being very difficult. Saving constantly will be the wisest thing you can do as you play.

There are 32 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Collect all the artifacts and relics in Peru.

  • Collect the Magnum weapon.

You can get the magnum in the level "The Coliseum". After you get the balcony key and use it to get to the top you will have to go to your left and swing across two rings. Swing using the first ring but instead of swinging to the second ring swing on top of the ledge that the second ring is connected to. Walk over to the end of the ledge and hang off the side, shimmy over to the right and pull yourself up to collect the magnum.

  • Collect all the artifacts and relics in Egypt.

  • Collect the Uzi weapon.

You can get the uzi in the level "Sanctuary of the Scion". When you enter the room with the giant sphinx statue climb up the ladder north of the sphinx. Jump to the crevice to the right and go along as if you normally would until you reach the top. When you get to the top you will be able to see the uzi laying on top of the sphinx's head. Simply swing on to the sphinx's head using the ring and collect the uzi.

  • Collect all the artifacts and relics in Greece.

  • Collect the Shotgun weapon.

You receive the shotgun when you complete the level "Tomb of Qualopec".

  • Collect all the artifacts and relics in Lost Island.

  • Defeat the T-Rex without dying (Peru).

As soon as the fight starts save, that way if you die you can just reload the save and try again.. To defeat the T-Rex you must shoot it until its rage meter is full then perform an adrenaline attack in front of one of the three spiked logs forcing it to run into it. Do this three times and then complete the super action to defeat it.

  • Defeat the Twin Centaur Bosses without dying (Greece).

As soon as the fight starts save, that way if you die you can just reload the save and try again.. To defeat these two you have to shoot them individually until its rage meter is full then it will unleash an attack that will only affect you if you have your gun(s) out. When it does this stop firing and make sure lara puts her guns away. When you build its rage meter up a second time it wil charge you, you must then perform a adrenaline attack. When you do that it will be stunned, grapple the ring on its shield and reel it in. When its shield is off you must build its adrenaline meter to full again to make it release it attack (the one you have to put your guns away for) but instead of putting away your guns pick up the shield and hold the analog stick toward the centaur. This will cause it to attack itself thus freezing itself momentarily. When it's frozen it's vulnerable to attacks, shoot it until it's defeated, if you don't kill it while it's frozen you will have to freeze it and attack it again until it's dead. Do this on both centaur's.
  • Defeat the Torso Boss without dying (Lost Island).

As soon as the fight starts save, that way if you die you can just reload the save and try again. To defeat the torso boss you have to shoot it until its rage bar is full then perform an adrenaline attack on it making it get its hand stuck into the ground. When this happens shoot the arm until it falls off. Then when you do this shoot it until its rage is full then perform an adrenaline attack on it but make sure you're standing in front on the ledge. When you do this it will be hanging onto the ledge for about 15 seconds. Shoot the hand until it falls off, it may take a few tries before it loses its grip.
  • Defeat Natla without dying (Lost Island).

As soon as the fight starts save, that way if you die you can just reload the save and try again. When the fight starts you must shoot natla until her half is about halfway down. When she's about halfway down she will have a rage meter. You must shoot her until the rage meter is full then when she rushes at you do a forward dodge that does a flip towards her (the point of this is instead of hitting her in the head like normal with an adrenaline attack you have to hit the green spot on her back). Hitting her in the back with an adrenaline attack will stun her, when she's stunned shoot her as much as you can. Rinse and repeat and when her health's gone a super action will start, complete the super action to defeat her.
  • Complete the game on Easy difficulty.

    See "Hard Game"

  • Complete the game on Medium difficulty (includes Easy Game achievement).

  • Complete the game on Hard difficulty (includes Easy and Medium Game achievements).

Simply complete all fourteen levels to complete the game. I've been hearing about a glitch that prevents the "Hard Game" achievement from unlocking. I've heard from many different people that playing a time trial sets the difficulty of your save file to medium, so when going for the "Hard Game" achievement DO NOT play a level under time trial difficulty until you complete the game.

  • Complete the Croft Manor Time Trial.

    See "Lost Island Speed Run"

  • Complete all the Peru Time Trials.

    See "Lost Island Speed Run"

  • Complete all the Greece Time Trials.

    See "Lost Island Speed Run"

  • Complete all the Egypt Time Trials.

    See "Lost Island Speed Run"

  • Complete all the Lost Island Time Trials.

Not much advice I can offer on these. I recommend beating the Lost Island time trials first. Doing this unlocks the Golden Shotgun, the golden shotgun pretty much kills everything in the game with one hit, this will save you a lot of time as fights won't last more than two seconds. The Lost Island time trials are the easiest time trials in my opinion so they shouldn't give you too much trouble. You will be able to enable the golden shotgun in the cheat menu that is under options (don't worry cheats don't disable achievements). Practice is key, once you learn the layouts of the levels these achievements will not be very challenging.
  • Complete Peru without dying.

See "IRON Raider on Lost Island"

  • Complete Greece without dying.

See "IRON Raider on Lost Island"

  • Complete Egypt without dying.

See "IRON Raider on Lost Island"

  • Complete Lost Island without dying.

The best advice i can offer for these achievements is to save very often, if you die you can simply reload you save and go at it again.
  • Complete all the Peru Super Actions without fail (first try).

See "Good Show on Lost Island!"

  • Complete all the Greece Super Actions without fail (first try).

See "Good Show on Lost Island!"

  • Complete all the Egypt Super Actions without fail (first try).

  • Complete all the Lost Island Super Actions without fail (first try).

A "Super Action" is an interactive cut scene where you have to hit certain buttons. In these interactive cut scenes you have to hit     or , you fail them by pressing the wrong button (i.e if you hit  when the  button appears) or you don't hit the right button in the second it gives you to press it. It sounds harder then it actually is, save often and if you fail a super action just reload a previous save and try again. There's only about 3-5 of these in each area.

Secret achievements

  • Completed all challenges in the Croft Manor.

To complete Croft Manor you have to enter the music room, easier then it sounds. This guide can help you if you get stuck. https://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox...e/940567/49061
  • Completed the Peru gear puzzle without dying.

The "Gear Puzzle" is in the level "The Lost Valley". To complete the "Gear Puzzle" you have to find all three COG's and put them into place (this is needed to complete the level). Go along completing the level as you normally would but save after every checkpoint and if you die reload the save.
  • Completed the Hephaestus room in Greece without being struck by lightning.

The "Hephaestus Room" is located in the level "St. Francis Frolly". When you get into the Hephaestus Room you will see a dark ball zapping floor tiles as the elevate and descend into the floor. The dark ball only zaps the floor tiles that are elevated. To get past this and open the gate you have to press the four floor tiles that are smaller than the rest. Just make sure you're not standing on the elevated tiles about a second after they elevate and you won't get zapped. Make sure to save as you enter the room so if you mess up you will just have to reload the save to try again. You will receive the achievement when you exit the room with the key of hephaestus.
  • Collected the seals of Anubis, Horus, Isis, and Osiris without dying.

Collecting the seals is needed to complete the level. Just go through the as you normally would saving often so if you die you can just reload a save without having to restart.
  • Completed the central shaft in the Lost Island without dying.

The "Central Shaft" is located in the level "Final Conflict". The "Central Shaft" is where you have to keep shooting a button on the wall to extend a ring or platform so you can get higher. There's about six floors you have to do this on, you get a checkpoint on each floor so keep saving after each checkpoint and reload the save if you die.
