Introduction:
Madden 06 was the first installment of Madden on the Xbox 360 and was released when the 360 was launched back in 2005. This game achievements are easy and the only one that will cause you trouble is the "Complete 30 years of Franchise" achievement. You should be able to get the other 10 achievements within 1-2 hours but it will take 3-5 hours to get the "Complete the 30 years of Franchise" achievement.

Note: To get the "Four Sacks in One Game" achievement faster you can turn off offsides from either the Main Menu or from the in-game Pause Menu.

Step 1:
Before you start up a Franchise play an offline game and put the Quarter Length at 4 minutes. Now in that game you should get 4 achievements including the "Get a First Down", "Score a Touchdown", "Four Sacks in One Game", and "Complete an Offline Game". Now once the game is over go into Stats and click on . You will then get the "Activate RS Card" achievement. You can also get the "Rush for 200 yards" and "Pass for 350 yards" achievements if you want, or you can get them when you play the Super Bowl. Now go and start a new Franchise and after you pick a team go out to the menu and go enter the History Book. You should then get the "Enter History Book" achievement. Now play a Franchise game so you can get the "Win a Franchise Game" achievement. After that just simply sim through the season making sure you make the playoffs. Once you make the playoffs sim until the Super Bowl but make sure your team wins there games. Once your team is in the Super Bowl play that game wih 4 minute quarters. Now while you’re in the game if you have not already rush for 250 yards and pass for 350 yards so you can get those two achievements. Now once the game is over you should get two more achievements. You should get the "Win the Super Bowl" achievement. Now the only achievement you should have left is the "Complete 30 years of Franchise" achievement. Just keep simulating seasons. If you get fired don’t worry about it as there will always be a team for you to sign with.

Conclusion:
Well after 1 hour of playing the game and 4-5 hours simulating Franchises you should have 1000 in Madden 06 now. At least there is no online achievement in this game because if there were you probably would not be able to get it anymore.

There are 11 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Enter any of the history book screens in Franchise mode.

Enter the History Book screen from Franchise mode.

  • Activate any of the RS cards.

Pretty simple to unlock: just “click” the Right Stick while in the schedule during Franchise Mode.

  • Score a Touchdown in any Offline game mode.

What you basically have to do is score a touchdown while in an offline game. A touchdown is one of the ways to score points in AF (American Football). All AF fields are 100 yards long. At each end of the football field (not on the sides but on the top and bottom) are two 10 yard endzones. You must enter this area with the player that is holding the ball to score a touchdown. You can either run or throw the ball. You must enter the zone that your screen is pointing you into.

  • Gain a first down in any offline game mode.

Get a First Down in any offline game mode. A first down is when one of your players crosses that yellow line that's always going across the field. You have 4 attempts to cross that line. If you do not make it over in 4 attempts, you will turn the ball over to the other team. You also have the option of punting it away after 3rd down (punting does not give you a first down). You must cross the yellow line once to earn a first down though.

  • Successfully complete an offline game.

Just complete a game offline. Doesn't matter if you win or lose. You'll earn this achievement while trying to earn the other ones.

  • Amass four sacks in one game.

A sack is when you tackle the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage (where the ball starts). What I suggest is having four defensive players on the line (Use the 4-3 in the playbook for this. This means 4 defensive linemen and 3 linebackers).

Now, you must run some type of blitz play. Take control of a player that isn't on the defensive line and wait near a defensive lineman (a person on the line between the offense and defense). As soon as the ball is in play, your defensive lineman should cover some players. Use your controlled player to weave through and tackle the quarterback.

To make it easier, shift your defensive line to the side where you're controlling the player. By shifting it, you'll have one side covered more giving your controlled player an easier time to make the sack.

A 3-4 defense (3 defensive linemen and 4 linebackers) will also work but maybe a little more advanced to achieve sacks. It is a good idea to mix up your plays though.

  • Win a user-controlled Franchise game.

You can earn this achievement while you're trying to get the others. All you really have to do is pick an extremely good team (New England Patriots), put it on the easiest difficulty, and face a bad team.

  • Successfully rush for 200 yards or more.

A rushing yard is only achieved when you run with the ball. Every yard ran towards the endzone is a rushing yard. Throwing the ball from behind the line of scrimmage to a player past the line does not count as rushing yards. You must toss the ball or hand it off to one of your players to accumulate rushing yards.

  • Successfully pass for over 350 yards or more.

Run a throwing play. You'll know the difference between a throwing play and a running play when choosing them in your playbook. You'll see lines everywhere (called routes) for throwing plays. For a running play you'll see a little arrow pointing from behind the offensive line.

  • Win the Super Bowl with your Franchise team.

The super bowl is basically the world series, NBA Championship, World Cup, etc. of American Football. All you have to do is win plenty of games during the season, then go through the single-elimination playoffs. If you aren't very good, put it on the easiest difficulty and pick the New England Patriots as your team.

  • Successfully complete 30 years of Franchise mode.

    Happy Simulating!!

Just keep simulating through the preseason, regular season, and postseason. This will take you several hours and will require you to be somewhat active, so have a good book or something handy. The system will "run out of years" in the year 2035, which is when you get your achievement.

Most of these are self-explanatory, but here's what I did. Before anything go to Options : Gameplay, gimp the CPU and boost yourself. This will make it to where your receivers never drop a ball and your running back will break away and run down the entire field. Every achievement can be obtained in one game except for the Super Bowl and 30 years.

The first game I played was the longest. I got every achievement I could in that single game, the score was around 255 to 20. Then I simulated the rest of the season until the playoffs. The stat boost from the game I played allowed my team to make it to the playoffs. Then, I set the quarter time to 2 minute quarters, and won the playoff games and the Super Bowl. From there I simulated 29 more years.
